Ascension Day in Switzerland is a Public holiday and as I'm living here I also took the day off and went exploring Bern alone the river Aara. Here are some of my friends I met on the way!

It's very strange cos they all came up to me to have a talk, as you see the sheep is very close, well he actually came running over, as did the geese, who were quackers! ..........

Nice to see you are getting on with the local Birds! I can appreciate that the geese are in a cage to prevent the chance of a loose goose aboot the hoose, but for the sake of the young ewe... she should have some enclosure to keep the likes of you at a distance!
Actually I felt like Dr. Dolittle as the aminals all seemed to want to talk to me. The Geese did not want to let me go, obviously had so much to tell me and the sheep was amazing, running across the field to have his picture taken. I was actually over the other side of the fence as I did not want to get arrested for harassing sheep. Although those oversized ‘wellies’ came in handy!!!
Btw, in our company Friday was an official day off, kind of grand favour :)
